BUY THE THRASHERS!!!

It is time for someone to step up.....with the Atlanta Thrashers being for sale now is the time for a local owner or ownership group to come together. Get it done and get me some hockey right now......I will be first in line for season tickets. If you live in or around Seattle and have a billion dollars laying around why don't you just go ahead and buy the whole package.....Hawks and Thrashers and everything will be perfect and all will be right in the world.

BIG UPDATE AND STATUS REPORT!

Nothing to report :(. The good news is we get Flyers - Bruins game 7 tonight. If you have never watched a hockey game before...grab some popcorn, beer, ice cubes, a tennis racket, seven dollars in Peruvian currency, a stuffed ocelot, and a 1920's era hat box with no hat in it and watch the game. Playoff hockey is insanely exciting and stimulating and a game 7 after one team was down 3-0 is about as crazy as it gets. Since both cities are obnoxious and both teams are "meh" I have to root for a "good game" which is a total wank cop-out....but hey...what can you do? Enjoy the hockey tonight and visualize one of the two teams being here in Seattle and how excited (or pants crappingly nervous) you would be today getting ready for the game.

WE DON'T WANT HOCKEY, WE NEED HOCKEY AND THAT'S A RESPONSIBILITY

The love of hockey runs deep in this area and with natural rivals in place, a pre-existing fan base, and a city that loves sports we are a perfect fit for an NHL franchise. With that said, the questions of where to start and how do we get to where we want to be looms ominously. Well.....GOOD NEWS! I have no answers for you! But I have created a complex equation to help us get what we want. Many hours at a chalkboard with an abacus led me to this:

Create Blog + Get People to Read + ? = NHL Franchise.
